Our Founders
George Mathai
CEO & Managing Director
Terrafirm was incorporated in 2003 and headquartered in Aluva, Ernakulam district, Kerala, India. It was founded by George Mathai, an architect, entrepreneur, academician, and planter. He is a trustee of Nedumchalil Trust Hospital, a healthcare venture founded by his late father, Dr N M Mathai, and also professor & design chair at the department of architecture, KMEA College of Engineering, Kochi, Kerala.
Minna George
Director (Admin & Finance)
Minna George is an economics graduate and farming /horticulture enthusiast with extensive experience in business and entrepreneurship. She is the daughter of late Shri C. V. Jacob, Founder Chairman of Synthite, and also trustee of CVJ foundation, the CSR arm of Synthite group, a global leader in Processed spices and Oleoresins.
StapleGreenz was launched in 2018 by George Mathai and Minna George on the banks of the river Periyar in Aluva, Kerala. What began as a humble agro-farm soon evolved into a technologically advanced food processing company. Their vision was clear: to blend traditional wisdom with modern convenience, making pure, nutrient-rich staples available to every home. StapleGreenz is a proud venture of Terrafirm, established in 2007.
Today, their journey continues with a commitment to sustainability, farmer partnerships, and honest food practices — ensuring that every pack of StapleGreenz carries the same care as a home-cooked meal.
