CHAKKA VARATTI
Chakkavaratti (also known as Chakkavazhattiyathu or ChakkaHalwa) is a Kerala traditional delicacy. ChakkaVaratti or Jackfruit Preserve is made with ripe jackfruits, ghee and jaggery. Generally, this jackfruit preserve is made during jackfruit season and is stored for future use. “Chakka” is a Malayalam word which means Jackfruit and “Varatti” means to cook until there is no moisture content. Chakkavaratti, also known as ChakkaVarattiyathu or ChakkaHalwa, is a legendary sweet treat from Kerala, India. It’s not just a jam or preserve; it’s a sensory experience woven with the warmth of ripe jackfruit, the richness of ghee and the earthy sweetness of jaggery.

USAGE
Chakkavaratti can be enjoyed on its own as a snack or dessert, or it can be used as an ingredient in other dishes. It can be used as a filling in Ada and Kozhukatta. Chakkavaratti can be added to desserts, such as cakes, puddings, or even in ice cream.

After opening, Store in an air tight container. Keep Container in a refrigerated condition. Avoid direct sunlight.Best before 2 months from the date of packaging.
